Hong Kong, 5 August 2024, China Chengxin (Asia Pacific) Credit Ratings Company Limited (“CCXAP”) proposes update to its sovereign rating methodology, which is believed to improve its assessment on sovereign governments and also help the users to better understand CCXAP’s approach on sovereign rating. The proposed methodology applies to sovereign governments in a global context.

In this request for comment, CCXAP invites interested market participants to submit written comments on the proposed rating methodology by 5 September 2024 through Request for Comment page or sent to info@ccxap.com. CCXAP will review and take all received comments into account before publication of the methodology.
