CCXAP publishes its rating methodology for Multilateral Development Organizations
Hong Kong, 3 August 2026, China Chengxin (Asia Pacific) Credit Ratings Company Limited (“CCXAP”) has published a new methodology for assessing the credit quality of Multilateral Development Organizations (“MDOs”), which applies to Multilateral Development Banks (“MDBs”) and Other Multilateral Development Institutions (“OMDIs”) globally. CCXAP does not have any existing rated MDOs that match the scope of application of the rating methodology. The adoption of this methodology is not expected to result in any rating changes.
