CCXAP publishes its rating methodology for Insurers
Hong Kong, 29 December 2023, China Chengxin (Asia Pacific) Credit Ratings Company Limited (“CCXAP”) has published a new methodology for assessing the credit quality of insurance companies. The methodology broadly applies to insurers globally, including those in life and health, property and casualty, trade credit, and reinsurers. CCXAP has not rated any entities that match our definition of insurers as of today, so adoption of this methodology is not expected to cause any rating changes.
